On Sunday the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation will take place. Join to help!
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC, Polish Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy,
WOŚP) is the biggest, non-governmental, non-profit, charity organization in Poland raising money for
pediatric and elderly care. The GOCC aims to support health care in Poland by purchase of state of
the art medical equipment for Polish hospitals. The foundation supports paediatric and geriatric
wards, furnishing them in both complex medical devices and providing long-term care units.
The name The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was coined by Jerzy Owsiak in 1993. Every year,
millions of Poles donate to the Foundation and throughout the 28 Great Orchestra of Christmas
Charity Finals, the Orchestra collected and donated over PLN 1.3 BILLION and bought over 65,200
devices.
The symbol of the action is a Red Heart with the name of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity,
which is given to everyone who makes a donation.
The 29th WOŚP Grand Finale will be held on January 31st, 2021. 120 thousand people will join the fundraising
campaign, which will be dedicated to the support of children’s laryngology, otolaryngology and head
diagnostics departments. Volunteers register with Headquarters around the world.
We encourage you to join this great festival of kindness and helping. On Sunday you will see
volunteers with cans almost everywhere, collecting money. You can also help and deposit money
through banks. Official page:
